Real American Freestyle - RAF16 will take place Saturday, December 19 at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. Streaming live exclusively on FOX Nation at 8 PM ET, the event marks RAF’s highly-anticipated New York debut and the final domestic event of a breakthrough year for the league.
The weekend will also feature a historic milestone for RAF NEXT GEN, as the league crowns its first-ever youth wrestling champions the night before on Friday, December 18.
Launched in July, RAF NEXT GEN is a national youth wrestling tournament series designed to create a pathway from grassroots competition to wrestling’s biggest stage. Following a season of qualifying events, the top two wrestlers in each weight class will earn an invitation to Long Island, where they will compete head-to-head for the inaugural RAF NEXT GEN Season Championship belts.
The championship matches will take place at Nassau Coliseum on the same stage as RAF16, giving the next generation of wrestlers an opportunity to compete under the lights in a professional arena. The finals will stream exclusively on FOX Nation.
Alongside RAF16 and the NEXT GEN championship finals, the Long Island weekend will feature the RAF Fan Zone, bringing fans closer to the league's athletes through exclusive experiences and opportunities to engage with the sport.
Matchups for RAF16 will be announced in the coming weeks.
